The San Diego FBI office is the hub of this series, and its agents the main characters. Although the principal setting is San Diego, the action travels to many locations including London, Washington, and Tijuana (Mexico). The plots involve drug cartel money laundering, dirty bombs, nuclear power plants, and hijacked cruise ships. Of course, the good guys always win, and the women always get their men. After all, these are still romances.
